Blogging Tools
Like in the old times where we did blogging manually, we would need some tools to make us able to write something about our thoughts.
When we write a diary, we need a special book where we can write our experiences, our feelings on that day, our plans for tomorrow, etc.. Blogging is also like that. We will need “book” to write.
The most common platform available on the net are wordpress and blogspot.
I never tried both of the platform in details, i mean in optimising the design, adding any plugins, or anything that could make the blog looks prettier. However, I’ve tried to use blogspot about 2-3 years ago.. I only used it for posting my scrambled words about those day messy days… (oopss… ^_^)
This time, I would love to try another platform, wordpress. As I blog-walked to a lot of other “elder” bloggers, I noted that most of them used wordpress too.. One of them said that wordpress is easy to use.. and easy to re-construct as we needed… even, there are so many useful plugins that can be used to make the blog prettier..
The only difference that I can see until now (CMIIW), wordpress has the specific installation files that can be downloaded by the users and use it on their own hosting servers, while blogspot only provide the feature to put the blog with blogspot platform.. I’ve never seen the specific installation file for blogspot platform.. (or maybe I’m just too lazy for googling it =p)
Okay then for the beginners like me, which platform do you wanna choose? Remember, the flexibilities and functionalities of the platform you’re going to use will effect you mood in blogging.. ^_^
I made my decision for now.. Hopefully won’t be a wrong one.. =P
